Hours


  • Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Friday: 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.
  • Saturday:  9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Rates


  • $1 per day
  • 3 Months: $20 for residents or $30 non-residents
  • 6 Months: $31 residents or $41 non-residents
  • 12 Months: $55 residents or $65 non-residents
Sign up today by filling out the Senior Fitness Registration Form (PDF) and drop it off at the Senior Activities Office.

This Senior Emergency Registration Form (PDF) is required for all exercise programs offered at the Maplewood Community Center.

Senior Fitness Classes


Yoga  


  • Mondays: 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Fridays: 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $2.00 per class
  • Drop-in - All Are Welcome!
  • Sign up at the Maplewood Center

Aerobics


  • Tuesdays and Thursdays: 8:45 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
  • Cost: $3.00 per class
  • Includes workouts with balance balls, weights and other equipment, which is supplied

The Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program


Gentle activities to help increase joint flexibility and range of motion to maintain muscle strength, and to increase overall stamina.
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays: 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
  • Cost:  $1.00 suggested donation per class
  • Instructor: Stephanie McCarthy
  • Provided by a grant through The Senior Alliance

Arthritis Tai Chi Class


  • Beginner Level, Wednesdays: 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.
  • Advanced Level, Wednesdays: 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.
  • 6 week session
