WHY DOES GARDEN CITY HAVE A DDA?
The City created the DDA by ordinance to initiate strategies and programs to breathe new life into the downtown business district. The downtown is a symbol of the community’s economic health, local quality of life, community history and pride. A healthy downtown protects property values in surrounding residential neighborhoods.
