WHAT DOES THE DDA DO?
A Development and Tax Increment Finance Plan was adopted by the City that outlines the initiatives that would be undertaken to achieve improvements in the downtown.

To encourage businesses to improve the appearance of their buildings low interest loans are available and paid back over 10 years.

To date 12 businesses are enrolled in the program.

The DDA and City completed the streetscape improvements and replacement of the water main in the core of downtown through the sale of bonds.

Retaining businesses and recruitment of new ones are top priority at the DDA.
