WHAT DOES AN ‘E’ OR AN ‘M’ ON A BILL MEAN?
‘M’ is for a card reading or telephone reading given to us by a resident.

‘E’ is for a read that was estimated. The service person was unable to get a reading from the outside reading device, therefore the City had to estimate your read for that billing period. If this is on your bill, call the Water Department as soon as possible to schedule an appointment to have a service person come out and check your meter to make sure it is working properly. If a home has an older meter, a new meter will be installed.
