WHEN A YOUTH IS REFERRED TO THE FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER WHAT HAPPENS?

The youth and family visit the Garden City Family Resource Center office to meet with a case manager.  During the assessment, the parents complete an application and the youth complete a self-evaluation form.  The case manager discusses which components are the best fit for the family.  The youth may be eligilbe for RAVE Club, Relationships 101. or Life Choices.  In addition Community Work Service and Outdoor Adventure Challenge Acitivities may be required or recommended.  A parent Compnent is also available.
