IS THERE A CERTAIN KIND OF CONTAINER I SHOULD USE AND IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE AMOUNT THAT CAN I PUT OUT?
The City's refuse contractor, Republic, provides 95 gallon, or smaller containrs at no charge to residents. You may also use your own trash containers. Refuse not in carts provided by Republic must be in water-tight 30 gallon garbage cans, either galvanized metal or heavy duty plastic with handles and not weighing more than 50 pounds each or use 30 gallon garbage bags not weighing more than 50 pounds each.
