DOES THE CITY HAVE RECYCLING CENTER?

Residents may use the Self-Service Recycling Drop Off Center located in the Department of Public Service yard. The facility is open Monday through Saturday from 8:30AM to 5:00 PM. Listed below are the guidelines for using the center.

ITEMS THAT CAN BE RECYCLED:

*NEWSPAPERS                                                                         *CARDBOARD
*PLASTICS (Type 1 thru type 7)
*GLASS (Brown and clear) No lids
*TIN AND ALUMINUM
*HOUSEHOLD BATTERIES

NEWSPAPERS: Bundle with string or place in brown paper bags.
GLASS JARS: Remove lids (which go with metal), sort glass by color.
CANS: Rinse, remove label and flatten, if possible.
