Garden City Firefighters Union, Local 1911, a unit of The Michigan Professional Firefighters Union (MPFFU) and The International Association of Firefighters (IAFF), an affiliate union of the AFL-CIO. The Garden City Firefighters have done charitable work through the Garden City DDA chili cook-off, and the Garden City Good fellows, as well as citizens of Garden City that have lost valuables during house fires.
