Community Shred Days occur twice a year in the Spring and Fall.
The next Shred Day is September 9.
Drop off sensitive paper documents for Garden City residents and businesses at no charge. Also normally includes H.O.M.E. Food Pantry collection event and drug take back event.
Garden City City Hall, 6000 Middlebelt Road.
We will accept up to five paper grocery bags or cardboard banker's boxes of sensitive paper documents from Garden City residents & businesses to shred at no charge. *Please note: Cars must be in line by 12:45 pm.
The police department will also be on hand to accept drop off of unwanted/unneeded/expired prescription drugs. A uniformed officer will be designated to handle collection of those items.
Donations accepted for the Garden City H.O.M.E. Food Pantry.
