ONLINE CITIZENS POLICE REPORTING

For emergency situations or to report crimes where the suspect is known or evidence needs to be collected police must respond in person but, for filing police reports for non-emergency, low priority situations without evidence or a suspect, we have On-line Citizen Police Reporting

GENERAL NON-EMERGENCY QUESTIONS FORM

For general non-emergency questions you may complete a “Contact Us” Form selecting the Police Department as the department you would like to contact at or call the Police Department at 734- 793-1700 and select option 3 to speak with an officer on duty. 

CODE EFFORCEMENT

To report an Code Enforcement Issue we encourage citizens to utilize the GC Fix it Form link above or call Code Enforcement at 734-793-1807.

TRAFFIC AND PARKING ISSUES

To report an ongoing traffic or parking Issue we encourage citizens to utilize the GC Fix it Form above or call the Police Department at 734-793-1700 and select option 3.

POLICE REPORTS, SPECIAL EVENT PERMITS, GUN PERMITS, FINGER PRINTING AND MORE

For police reports, special event permits, gun permits, fingerprinting, or other police record division questions, citizens can call: 734-793-1752 or utilize the City’s Contact Us form at above and select Police Department as the department you wish to contact and write “Police Records” in the subject line.

CRASH REPORTS

For Crash Reports taken by the Garden City Police Department you may purchase a copy of a report by visiting the CLEMIS website.


During  the Covid-19 Pandemic, Citizens are encouraged to call the Police Records Division at 793-1752 or Code Enforcement at 734-793-1807 before coming to the Police Department for these services to either eliminate or minimize  the need to come into the PD in person
