2. The Garden City Police Department is asking residents and local businesses to join us in the mission to make our community stronger. We would like our business owners and residents to join our voluntary directory of surveillance camera systems. By joining this directory, we will notify you by email (or text message) when an incident in your area has occurred and video surveillance footage may aid us in resolving an issue. We ask that when you receive an email you view your camera footage and respond to the email should you have anything that may assist us. Department.
